It all appears to stem from an issue with their age and identity verification process, which has led to multiple requests for identification from customers, and the process just falling down. This has been backed up by the Gambling Commission who regulate BetButler, although that is based on what BetButler will have told them so maybe we can't read too much into that.

Quoting a couple of weeks to get all the issues resolved hasn't gone down too well with some customers who have already been waiting many weeks for their money (particularly agrivating if you are one of a number of people who had previously had their age and identity verified and had multiple withdrawals before these problems really kicked off).

currently waiting for a withdrawal from us and we are in the process of
dealing with your request. It is important to us that your withdrawal is
processed as quickly as possible and we apologise for that fact that you
are waiting an unacceptable length of time.
We have recently encountered some issues which are delaying the processing
of withdrawals. As a brokerage, the funds you have deposited to place bets
have been used to place bets and at present we are waiting for monies to be
returned to us from other bookmakers. We don't envisage this delay to be
much longer and as soon as funds are returned to Bet Butler, your funds can
be returned.
Bet Butler has recently seen a huge increase in customer base which has
resulted in more activity than ever before. This has resulted in an
unprecedented demand for Customer Service and unfortunately this may have
resulted in efforts you have made to contact the team being unsuccessful.
The CS team are committed to helping our customers wherever possible and we
apologise if you have suffered a delayed response.
This increase in customer numbers has unfortunately led us experiencing an
increase in the incidence of fraudulent and duplicate accounts. As an added
security measure for both ours and your protection, we have introduced a
process whereby you may be sent a letter through the postal system to your
home address, which will contain a unique code for you to submit via your
online account with us.
We are currently recruiting and have already allocated additional staff to
help clear this backlog, and we anticipate that all verifications and
associated payments will have been completed in the next few weeks.

done to process your withdrawal as soon and as safely as possible.
